The Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development (GARID) Project involves constructing storm drains in Nima to manage flooding and improve sanitation. It's managed by the Ministry of Works and Housing.
The project included approach filling, gravelling, construction of 63km roadside drains, and culverts. It was executed for the Ghana Highway Authority.
It includes bush clearing, blading, gravelling, stone pitching, 2km concrete drains, and 41 culverts, improving road access in the Upper East Region.
The Phase 1 project covered 4.5km of ditching, 1.2km of concrete drains, and 16 culverts. Stone pitching and gravelling improved road safety and drainage.
ACL constructed fence walls and executed drainage works involving reshaping feeder roads, ground stabilization, gravelling, compaction, and surfacing over 15.8km.
